My journey to serving you…..
I am a Master's of Counseling Psychology student at Yorkville University. I received my Honor’s Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandon University in 2023. I have served as a research assistant at the Centre for Critical Studies of Rural Mental Health and the Social Wellness Research Lab, where I focused on understanding connections among family functioning, coping, emotion regulation, attachment, mental health, and loneliness in young adults.
With aspirations to become a clinical psychologist, I am drawn to therapeutic modalities such as the biopsychosocial approach, acknowledging the importance of addressing all aspects of a person's life in therapy.
Outside my academic pursuits, I enjoy fishing with my spouse or tending to the garden in the summer. During colder months, I like to test new recipes or dive into mystery novels while sipping on a hot cup of tea.
